My eBay account has an MC011 restriction
eBay has paused buying, selling or payouts while it verifies your identity, address, or where your stock came from.

MC011 is an account review restriction. eBay has paused your ability to buy, sell, or receive payouts while it verifies your identity, your address, or proof that you legitimately own the items you are selling.
It is commonly triggered by a sudden increase in sales volume, high-value items, or new-account activity that looks different from your normal selling pattern. It is not automatically a ban, and it is not the same as a policy suspension, but selling limits and payout holds usually stay in place until eBay is satisfied.
To resolve it you typically need to submit a government ID, proof of address, and invoices or receipts showing where your inventory came from.
A practical checklist
- Read the exact wording of the MC011 email. It covers several different asks and the required documents depend on which one you got.
- Gather government ID, a recent utility bill or bank statement matching your registered address, and supplier invoices for your top items.
- Make sure your eBay registration name and address exactly match the documents. Fix the account details first if they do not.
- Respond through the official flow only. Never send documents to anyone who contacts you claiming to be eBay.
- Submit once, with everything, clearly labelled. Piecemeal replies slow the review.
- Keep selling activity conservative while under review. No sudden new listings or price changes.
How Tekovex helps
We review the notice, tell you honestly whether it looks routine or serious, prepare a clean documentation pack, and manage the correspondence so the response is consistent and complete. Where the trigger is an account-detail mismatch or a listing-practice issue, we fix that too, otherwise it comes back.

Questions
Does an MC011 mean my account is banned?
No. It is a verification or documentation request. Your account is usually restricted, not closed, while eBay reviews your response.
How long does an MC011 take to resolve?
Anywhere from a few days to a few weeks, depending on the reason and how complete your first response is. One well-prepared submission is the biggest lever you control.
